Get the Most Out of Your Session
Tips
Please wear comfortable loose fitting shorts, underwear, swimsuit or bra. This is important so I am able to evaluate the balance of your body through a visual assessment. Please do not apply any lotions/creams/oils to your body the day of your treatment.
As restrictions begin to release your body may be shifting back into alignment. You may feel soreness in areas you have not noticed before. This is your body telling you to listen. Remember to gently stretch and drink lots of water.

- Breathe. Breath is a major key to helping you notice what is going on and relaxing sensations you feel. Breathe into areas that are uncomfortable and areas being treated. Explore and focus your awareness on your sensations even unpleasant ones through feeling, not thought.
- Awareness. Allow the areas being worked on to feel as if they are melting, flowing, sinking, gliding, spreading, opening. As you feel these shifts, scan your whole body to feel the connections in other area. Allow yourself to melt like butter. Provide feel back to me when you feel you want to share. This is helpful so I know what you are experiencing.
- Unwind. Fascia is not linear, so releases will not be as well. Allow spontaneous motion to occur. With movement fascial restrictions will unwind and release.
- Expression. Emotions, images and memories can be a natural response to treatment. Allow yourself to feel what may come up during and after your session.
- Pain. The sensation of pain is a signal. Consider giving yourself the space to listen with curiosity and love. Let pain or the sensation you are feeling be your teacher.
- Communication. During treatment I may ask you questions. You always have the option of not answering. When answering, allow your response to come from your feeling body rather than your thinking head.
